When sharpening with a water ski, the surface of the ski wears unevenly. The leveling plate allows you to keep the surface of the water ski perfectly straight and ensure the best sharpening result.

Before starting leveling, put the whetstone to be leveled in water for a few minutes. If you wish, you can draw diagonal crosses on the surface of the slide with an ordinary pencil. The stone is leveled when the pencil lines have disappeared during the leveling of the stone.

The abrasive plate is large enough (30x15 cm) to level even larger slopes. The plate is 2 cm thick. Thanks to the weight and the rubber "feet" on the edges, the plate stays stable when you level the whetstone on it.
