The blade of the Samura Bamboo cheese knife is made of AUS-8 steel. The 58 HRC blade has incredibly small teeth, which makes it easier to cut through hard cheese. The openings in the blade reduce the frictional resistance and allow for even lighter and smoother cutting.

Since the knife is made "in one piece" entirely of stainless steel, it meets all sanitary and hygiene requirements. The knife has no welds, cracks, rivets or joints where bacteria and dirt can accumulate.
